Onion Herb Bread

Servings: 1 loaf

Ingredients
  

  • c. Idaho-E Oregon yellow onion finely chopped
  • 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 3 c. buttermilk baking mix
  • 1 egg
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. Basil
  • 1 tsp. Dill weed

Method
 

  1. Sauté onions in butter or margarine until tender.
  2. In separate bowl, combine baking mix, egg, and milk.
  3. Add seasonings, cooked onions and mix until blended.
  4. Spoon into greased 9 X 5 inch loaf pan or 9 inch round baking pan.
  5. Bake at 350°F for 55 to 60 minutes.
