Onion Herb Bread
- 1½ c. Idaho-E Oregon yellow onion finely chopped
- 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 3 c. buttermilk baking mix
- 1 egg
- 1 c. milk
- 1 tsp. Basil
- 1 tsp. Dill weed
- Sauté onions in butter or margarine until tender.
- In separate bowl, combine baking mix, egg, and milk.
- Add seasonings, cooked onions and mix until blended.
- Spoon into greased 9 X 5 inch loaf pan or 9 inch round baking pan.
- Bake at 350°F for 55 to 60 minutes.
