The Idaho-Eastern Oregon Onion Committee
invites you to apply to become part of the

VIP Tour

of the Idaho-Eastern Oregon Onion Growing Region

Once you submit the application form, you will be notified if you have been selected for the expensepaid trip. The tour includes airfare, lodging, meals and ground transportation and entertainment. Incidentals are not covered.

On behalf of the Idaho-Eastern Oregon Onion Promotion Committee you are cordially invited to apply to be part of a select group of onion buyers that will participate in the VIP Onion Buyers Tour to the Idaho-Eastern Oregon Onion growing region.

The expensepaid tour will include stops at onion packing operations, harvest in the fields, meetings with the area sales people, and meal functions to network with many of the area’s shippers and their staff. The VIP Tour is scheduled for October 6-8, 2022 (Thursday, Friday, with a Saturday departure or stay at the Committee’s expense and at- tend the Boise State vs. Fresno State college football game.) If you choose to arrive early or stay after the tour to con- duct additional business, we will be happy to assist you in making those arrangements, but this early arrival or additional stay will be at your own expense. We hope that your schedule will allow you to apply for this tour.

If you are interested, please complete the application form below and submit to the Promotion Committee Office by email candifitch@outlook.com, or access the online form at www.USAOnions.com. Applicants will be accepted through August 23, 2022. Qualified applicants will be chosen on a first-come-first-serve basis and all applicants will be notified about their participation no later than September 3, 2022. By receipt of this invite, there is no guarantee of a secured spot on the tour.

Industry Dinner

Friday, October 7, 2022
Meet with Shippers, Tour Area Sheds and Growing Fields including a hosted Industry Luncheon and Dinner.
Tours will be arranged for you to see onions being harvested in the fields, to visit onion packing operations, and to meet with area shippers during your visit. All VIPs must participate in these tours as a group and no separate shipper meetings will be permitted.

Saturday, October 8, 2022
Travel to Boise for airport departure home (shuttle provided) or continue your stay at the Committee’s expense and attend the Boise State vs Fresno State college football game.
