Onion Herb Bread

Ingredients
  

  • c. Idaho-E Oregon yellow onion finely chopped
  • 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 3 c. buttermilk baking mix
  • 1 egg
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. Basil
  • 1 tsp. Dill weed

Instructions
 

  • Sauté onions in butter or margarine until tender.
  • In separate bowl, combine baking mix, egg, and milk.
  • Add seasonings, cooked onions and mix until blended.
  • Spoon into greased 9 X 5 inch loaf pan or 9 inch round baking pan.
  • Bake at 350°F for 55 to 60 minutes.
